Welcome to The Stansted Business Breakfast

The Stansted Business Breakfast meets every other Friday at 7.00 a.m in the main restaurant at the Radisson Blu Hotel Stansted. And we’d like you to join us.

Most business networking clubs have a fixed membership with strict controls on who can join and who can visit. We’re different. We believe that leads can be passed on, connections can be made and deals can be struck as a result of unscheduled, one-off encounters.

Who you’ll meet
Stansted Business Breakfast was founded by a team of executives spanning a range of business sectors including consultancy, IT, marketing, security and professional trades & crafts. The core group meets every other Friday but our unique ‘open-door’ policy means you’re never quite sure who else you’re going to meet or what new business opportunities you’re going to discover!

You’re welcome!
Check this calendar for the date of our next get-together. There’s nothing to pay other than the cost of your breakfast, and there’s no need to book in advance. Just come to the main hotel reception desk and ask for Stansted Business Breakfast.

During the second breakfast meeting of 2012, Steve Daniels (Access To Profit) drew our attention to the article ‘Cuts that leave your firm leaner and fitter’ featured in the Entrepreneur column of the Financial Times, January 14/15 2012, by Jonathan Moules. The article describes how companies are converting austerity drives into long-term benefits by deploying cost-reduction experts such as AccessTo Profit.

Whose following SBB?

Look whose following us on Twitter! SBB members StationeryBob, Monk Essex and cartouchelondon help keep the content on this page ticking over by announcements on Twitter. You can see that these tweets and other feeds in the margins are regularly updated.

However, we could benefit from more members participating and more frequent tweets. Take StationeryBob for example, who regularly beats the competition’s prices for replacement cartridges and office supplies. When Bob announces his latest offer to his 79 followers, he also benefits from a feed to this page – reaching you and our legions of readers. Furthermore, being a member, Bob’s message gets amplified by re-tweeting to SBB’s 100+ followers.

Who is likely to receive Bob’s tweets? For a start Bob can broadcast his message to reach buyers in Cheshire through CreweNantwich, Cambridge via TrinityBNI, Colchester(ColchCirclemag and Coolcolchester), Harlow (PINGHarlow and harlowchamber), Braintree District Council, essex_business, Loughton through 4NLoughton and London (londonchamber). Whats more, other SBB followers, predominantly local businesses also get the message.

We are looking forward to the day that Bob takes his first order as a direct result of our social network and hopefully that day is close. In fact, as you read this blog you just may be reminded that your printer cartridge is low or you need more paper or a new desk, if so tweet StationeryBob for a quote!

In the meantime, you can join us for business breakfasts at our future meetings. No pressure to join just test the atmosphere and see if it suits.
